Our Group IT Department are seeking a customer focused, action-oriented IT Security Operations Manager to join their Global team.

The successful candidate will join one of the largest cash handling and transportation organisations in the world helping manage the public flow of cash in society.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, maintaining and implementation of security services.  You will need to identify gaps and highlight any remedial actions within the Company’s IT security services and around the platforms and infrastructure.

You will be responsible for supplier relationships and contracts, where applicable, and manage the IT security strategy, ensuring the business receives cost effective, timely solutions which address any challenges.

There will be project work and you will be responsible for ensuring these are carried out and effectively implemented, coordinating departments and monitoring the outcomes in line with the project plan.

About You 

You will be a customer focused individual with a real drive for results.  You will need to be approachable with a high level of communication skills with individuals at all levels of the business and have experience of presenting ideas to a variety of key stakeholders.  Proven experience in IT security management is essential along with a knowledge of up to date security tools and technologies.

A proactive attitude and self-starter, you will need to deal with ambiguity and have experience of negotiating.

Specific requirements

We also have some specific security criteria that you will need to meet:

  • You must be able to pass a criminal record check as well as a personal credit and ID check.
  • You must also have a 5 year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify.
