We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented legal professional to join our legal team.
As our Legal Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our solicitors and legal executives in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for law to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of our firm.
The Role
* Assist solicitors and legal executives in drafting and reviewing legal documents
* Organise and maintain legal files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence
* Assist in the preparation for meetings, hearings, and trials, including arranging logistics and compiling relevant materials
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical and professional standards
* Stay updated on changes in legislation, case law, and legal procedures relevant to the practice areas of the firm
* Collaborate with colleagues to support the efficient functioning of the legal team and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the legal department

About You
To be successful as a Legal Assistant with Loomis International, you will need:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Law or Legal Studies
* Previous experience working as a paralegal or in a legal support role is highly beneficial
* Good knowledge of UK legal system and procedures is required
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
* Proficiency in using legal research tools and software applications
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and discretion
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Willingness to pursue further professional development and training opportunities

* You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks
* You must have verifiable 5-year employment/unemployment/educational history
