Due to an increase in workload our Leeds Transport hub are seeking a Part Time Vault Operative.

  • A UK driving licence 
  • to pass a criminal record check as well as a personal credit and ID check. 
  • have a 10 year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify. 
  • be approved to hold an SIA licence. It would be great if you come to us with a licence as this will automatically qualify you for the post-probation rate of pay. We also offer a bonus of £1,000 if you join us with a current valid SIA Licence. If you don’t hold one already, you will be required to attain a licence during your probation period, which we will pay for.

About You

To be successful as a Vault Operative with Loomis UK you will need to work as part of a team.  An eye for detail and a “can do” attitude is a must as well as the ability to operate within a secure working environment.

Part-time working patterns are scheduled days from Monday through to Sunday – with additional days and hours available from time to time. Shifts have variable morning start times with afternoon/evening finishes, so on contracted days your availability must be for that full working day without restriction in hours.

The Role

As a Vault Operative you will assist the Management Team in the day-to-day operation of the Branch, including supporting with a fleet of high spec security armoured vehicles.

Reporting to the Shift Manager you will be responsible for collating deliveries and collections as well as the safe loading and unloading of customers' money.

You will provide an effective communication chain between Branch Management and Road Crew and liaise and communicate with customers on day-to-day service and operational requirements.

Compliance with all Vault and Dispatch procedures and systems in accordance with Company standards is vital for this role along with the ability to monitor the standard of documentation and issue of security equipment.

You will also be required to assist in ensuring that vehicles meet both Company regulation and legislation.

You may at times be required to cover the role of a Multi-drop Delivery Driver Guard.
